![]() ![]() REVIEWįirst, I’ll like to say that I love Hatori and not only because she shares the same name as me but also because she has a quirky, over-the-top personality which is wonderfully portrayed by the beautiful Mirei Kiritani. In the end, they both leave their significant other for each other, letting themselves to be true to their desires and confessing their love. Slowly, she realises that its impossible for her to break up Adachi and Rita’s relationship and gives up, starting to get closer to Hiromitsu.Įventually, she forms a relationship with Hiromitsu but cannot forget her first love, Rita and vice versa. Her actions instead attracts the attractive playboy of the school, Hiromitsu Kosuke and he starts to court her. ![]() In her attempts to win back the heart of her crush, Hatori starts to do everything in her power to catch Rita’s attention, all in vain as he barely notices her. ![]() Matsuzaki Hatori is your typical female lead, confident that she is the ‘heroine’ of her love story but her plans to live happily ever after with her childhood friend, Terasaka Rita, crumbles to dust as he starts seeing Adachi Miho, a plain girl that gets bullied by others. Spoilers ahead! Prepare a box of tissues for incoming tears! PLOT Since I seldom rate a shoujo series highly, you know this is going to be good. Its a movie adapted from the manga of the same title, Heroine Disqualified and its a genuine roller-coaster so play “ Crazy Sexy Cool” by Astro and ride along the feels train with me as conductor. I tried my best to avoid watching those that already had an anime adaptation and so far, only this film lived up to my expectations. I said that I’ll take a break from writing and I did, well, for about half a day then I decided to binge watch some K-dramas and that escalated to bookmarking 10 J-Dramas and watching them one by one. ![]()
